We collect only what a safe, working account needs.
Who we are
DanceKomp Genius (“DanceKomp Genius”, “we”) is responsible for the personal information described here. We handle your information in line with the data protection laws that apply to us. [Legal: name the law and the regulator.]
What we collect
- Who you are: your name and the details you give us when you create your account.
- How to reach you: your email address, your Genius ID and, if you add it, your phone number.
- Your account: what you create and share in DanceKomp Genius, and the people you work with there.
- Your devices and security: the devices you sign in on, the public part of your passkey, and records of sign-ins. Your face or fingerprint never leaves your device and is never sent to us.
- When you contact us: what you tell us by email, in the app or by phone.
- When you use our website: basic technical information, as described in Cookies.
Why we use it
- To create and run your account.
- To keep your account safe, and to prevent, detect and investigate misuse.
- To tell you about changes to your account or our services.
- To improve our services, using information that is combined or de-identified wherever possible.
- To send you product news, only where you have agreed. You can stop it at any time.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only where we need to, with service providers who work for us under contracts that require them to protect it, with authorities where the law requires it, and with anyone you ask us to share it with.
Your rights

Don’t use DanceKomp Genius to break the law, to harm others or to get around its security. We may suspend accounts that do.

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA, everywhere.
- Every page works with a keyboard and a screen reader.
- Text and controls meet contrast guidelines, and focus is always visible.
- Motion respects your device’s reduce motion setting; the home film shows a still image instead.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content.
