Questions

What is a passkey?
A passkey replaces a password. Your phone or computer makes it and unlocks it with your face, your fingerprint or your screen lock. It only works on DanceKomp Genius, so it can’t be used on a fake site or reused anywhere else.
Does a Genius ID cost anything?
No. A Genius ID is free for everyone. Organisers pay per routine entered at their events; nobody pays for an ID. Pricing
Can my child have a Genius ID?
Younger dancers are part of their guardian’s Genius ID. From 13, a dancer can have their own with a guardian’s consent, and from 16 they hold their own profile. How we keep children safe
Do I need a new ID for each competition?
No. The same Genius ID works at every competition on DanceKomp Genius, in every role you hold.
What if I lose my phone?
Sign in with a code sent to your email, then add a passkey on your new phone. Your dancers, entries and results are all still there.
Can I use it without the app?
Yes. Sign in on the web in any modern browser with your passkey or an emailed code.
